Returns & Refunds Policy

1. Overview

At 2repair.parts, we want to ensure you have the right components for your repair. This policy is designed to be compliant with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.


2. Right to Cancel (Change of Mind)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods without giving a reason.

  • Notification: You must inform us of your decision to cancel via email at rma@headlane.co.uk.
  • Condition: Items must be returned in their original, unopened, and unused condition.
  • Exclusions: We cannot accept returns for parts where the protective films have been removed or the part has been installed/fitted, as these are no longer in a resalable condition.
  • Return Shipping: You are responsible for the cost of returning the items to us for change-of-mind returns.

3. Faulty or Damaged Goods

If your item is faulty, or was damaged in transit, the following terms apply under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:

Within 30 Days

If a part is found to be defective within 30 days of delivery, you are entitled to a full refund, repair, or replacement.

After 30 Days (Up to 6 Months)

If a fault develops after 30 days, we reserve the right to repair or replace the item. If we cannot do so, you may be entitled to a partial or full refund.

Important Note for Technicians: We strongly recommend "dry-testing" all screens and parts before full installation. Removing warranty seals or adhesive backings prior to testing may void your warranty if the part is later found to be defective.


4. Warranty Terms

All our phone parts come with a 12-Month warranty against manufacturing defects.

What is NOT covered:

  • Accidental damage (e.g., cracked screens after installation).
  • Damage caused by improper installation (e.g., torn flex cables, pressure spots).
  • Water damage.
  • Normal wear and tear.

5. How to Return an Item

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Request an RMA: Open your RMA here : https://2repair.parts/account?tab=returns
  2. Packaging: Ensure the part is packaged securely in a rigid box. Parts returned in envelopes that arrive crushed will not be eligible for a refund.
  3. Address: Send your return to: Returns Dept, Headlane Ltd Unit 13, Clock Tower Industrial Estate
    Clock Tower Road, TW7 6GF, UK

We recommend using a Tracked Service. We are not responsible for returns lost in transit.


6. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7 days.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.

7. Business-to-Business (B2B) Returns

If you are purchasing as a trade/business customer, the Consumer Contracts Regulations (14-day cooling-off period) do not apply. Faulty goods are still covered under the terms of our trade warranty agreement.
